Using The Shot Of Jaq Scratchpad

Using the Shot Of Jaq Scratchpad is simple. We have implemented it in such as way that lowers the barrier, helping you to focus on content and not jumping through technical hoops. We have also integrated Twitter and identi.ca so that you can discuss your scratchpad projects there, simultaneously sharing your project with the rest of the Internet. Sweet, eh?

The scratchpad is designed to help the Shot Of Jaq community work together on projects, share information and more. It doesn't require a user account, and it supports some simple markup that helps you make things bold, italic, add tables and other features. This page explains how this works.

Creating a new scratchpad page

Creating a page is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to http://www.shotofjaq.org/scratchpad

  2. In the Make a page for your Shot of Jaq project section, enter a name for your page (e.g. ThisPageName) and click the Create your own project button.

  3. You will then see the edit page screen. You can't create the page without answering the Who got shot? question there, which is obviously jaq.

  4. To edit an already existent page, use the edit link in the footer of the scratchpad page.
