Shot Of Advocacy

One of the most valuable aspects of the Shot Of Jaq ethos is that we start the conversation and the community continues it. To have genuinely interesting and thought provoking conversations, we need to spread shots far and wide and encourage a diverse range of listeners to join us in the discussion. To do this we need your help. As such, we would like to encourage all Shot Of Jaq listeners to follow the tips on this page for each shot and help contribute spreading the word.

Twitter / identi.ca / Facebook

An incredible way to spread the word is to mention on your Twitter, identi.ca and Facebook accounts that a new shot is released. When doing so make sure you use the #shotofjaq hashtag too. Here is an example of a good tweet:

Blog It

A short blog entry linking to the shot is a fantastic way of spreading the word of a particular shot. Feel free to cut and paste the body text from the shot page to make it even quicker! Please don't embed the shot audio on your site so we can keep the discussion on the main shot page!

Post In Related Communities / Forums

A great way of spreading the word is to share a link to the shot in forums and communities that are related to the shot. As an example, in the show about Google and China, posting the shot in political forums, Google-related communities and privacy and censorship communities is a great place to spread the word!
